Reverend Gloria Johnson
Reverend Gloria Johnson is the founder and senior pastor of the Living Word Church of God. She is also the senior pastor of Joy Fellowship Deliverance Ministries located in Bronx, New York. Reverend Johnson has served in various capacities in the church before being ordained as pastor in 2003. She faithfully served as choir director, pastor’s aide, Sunday school superintendent and missionary to name a few.
Reverend Johnson has a deep-seated passion for prayer and she believes fervent sincere prayer mixed with faith and action is quintessential to experience fullness in God. She is passionate about winning souls for the kingdom of God and seeks to minister to the whole man.
Reverend Johnson is a biological mother of four children but spiritual mother to hundreds. She is a retired licensed practical nurse (LPN). She worked in healthcare for decades. In 2012 she did her last shift at the Jacobi Hospital in Bronx, New York after 30 years of dedicated service. Reverend Johnson currently resides in Newburgh, New York.
Dr. Yvonne Mayne
Dr. Yvonne Mayne is a graduate of Church Teachers' College, Mandeville, Jamaica. She received her degrees in Theology from The International Theological Seminary of California, through its affiliate, The Family of Christ Theological Seminary, Bronx, New York. She obtained a Doctorate Degree in Theology, a Master’s Degree with a major in Christian Psychology, and a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Christian Education. She has served at the Family of Christ Theological Seminary as instructor of Christian Education. She also served as an interim instructor of Christian Psychology.
Other accomplishments of Dr. Mayne include the following, President and C.E.O. of Kingdom Institute of Leadership and Administration; a Certified Diversity Trainer with special emphasis on women’s issues, by the Professional Women’s Network; and Coauthor of the book Customer Service and Professionalism for Women.
Dr. Mayne is an ordained Elder. She is a Christian educator with a passion for the building up of the body of Christ and the advancement of the Kingdom of God. She gives herself to accomplishing her passion through her commitment to teaching and preaching the Word of God. She is a facilitator of seminars. She has ministered in churches and retreats in various states.
She is a member of The Living Word Church of God, Newburgh, New York, where her service includes teaching and preaching the uncompromising Word of God. She is the host of Friday Night Fire On The Wire aired on Zoom. One of her favorite verses is, Ps. 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Minister Kevin Scott
Minister Scott has been a member of this local ministry since 2005. He currently serves as treasurer, youth leader and usher. Minister Scott enjoys reading, dissecting and teaching the word of God. One of his favorite scriptures is Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are we saved and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast…” Minister Scott believes no one is beyond salvation and no one is good enough to deserve it, it is all because of the grace of God.
Sister Stacey Ann Scott
Sister Stacey Ann Scott has been a member of this local ministry since 2007. She currently serves as youth leader and praise and worship leader. She enjoys giving to and caring for others. One of her passions is singing. She delights in giving praise and glory to the one true God.
